Back to reality
I’ve been absent from the blog for a while because we’ve been enjoying our much-anticipated holiday in Langkawi (a Malaysian island). We spent twelve days at the resort we’ve been to three times before, and as usual had the most idyllic, perfect, relaxing break.
There was lots of swimming and lazing, heaps of reading, some fishing, some touring and shopping, a bit of day-spa-ing. We met lots of interesting people from all around the world.
I saw Queenie had texted some friends when we got home to let them know she was back, and said that she had a great time and had been “treated like a princess”. She’s not wrong. I could certainly become accustomed to the resort lifestyle. Alas, I don’t think our bank balances could…
If I get the energy and inclination, I may post some more pics and stories about the holiday, but in the meantime a few to make you completely green.
