Last stop: Nha Trang

So we’re moving on now to our final stop – Nha Trang.
Getting there from Hoi An involves a 4:30am pickup from the hotel, a half-hour drive to Danang to the airport, and a quick flight on a small-ish plane with propellers.  (I was in denial about that bit, but surprisingly it wasn’t that bad. I don’t think I’ve been on a plane with propellers since way back when you used to have to get  a Dash-8 from Canberra to Melbourne at certain times of day. Anyway…I digress.)
We were planning on spending a lot of time in Nha Trang just lazing around here:

But the weather gods had other ideas, and although it wasn’t cold, it wasn’t exactly perfect pool-lazing weather the whole time we were there.

This is looking along the beach from our hotel room.

While this is looking back over the city.

And this is between the two.
I think it will not be too long before Nha Trang resembles Australia’s Gold Coast.
