A theme park. Oh, yay.
On an island near Nha Trang is an amusement park called Vinpearl Land. You know how much I love theme parks. I couldn’t contain my excitement over this one.
And you can’t even get to it in any normal (i.e safe, reliable, wheels on the ground) way. It’s either cable car or boat. Double yay.
There was a few of these kind of things.
And a whole water-park of these kind of things. This one looks pretty tame, huh? Deceptive. The Poolboy whacked his foot so hard we thought he’d broken a toe…and we ran into another guest from our hotel who had cut her foot on the very same one.
Amongst the other attractions were an excellent aquarium (it was worth the trip just for that), 4-D movies, some indoor arcade games and bumper cars, and a truly disturbing show of performing dogs and monkeys.
I thought this was the best part of the day.
