From Penang to Langkawi
It was time to leave Penang, and head to our old favourite haunt, Langkawi.
One last look at the main drag at Batu Ferringhi. At night this road is lined with market stalls.
We chose to fly to Langkawi rather than take the ferry, as we had heard that the ferry crossing can sometimes be quite rough. The flight was 20 minutes flying time. We had barely levelled out when we began our descent. The taxi to the airport had taken longer.
Before we knew it we were on the ground in Langkawi and headed towards Tanjung Rhu.
Which was just as beautiful as we remembered.
