Panorama Langkawi
Every time we go to Langkawi I am somehow persuaded to go back to the Panorama Langkawi cable car. I am not overly fond of anything involving heights or involving dangling in a small bubble from a cable.
But I still go back and do it again.
It is the world’s steepest cable car, and at times appears to ascend Machincang Mountain vertically.
There is a spectacular Skybridge at the top which connects two peaks across a very deep chasm.
It was closed for maintenance. I can’t say I was sorry about that.
The day we went up the mountain was particularly clear and the views over the islands of Langkawi were amazing. We could even see the bay where our hotel was, which we’ve never been able to see before.
