Hello Dubai

So we sadly left Italy to head for home, but we still had one location to visit on the way…

Dubai.

A place where the impossible is made possible.

Snow in the desert.

Where everything is big…

…including fountains which span three floors.

Where shopping malls form the main attraction.

The Dubai Mall (the largest shopping mall in the world).

And the malls contain not just shops, but also other attractions…

…like giant aquariums.

The buildings are big.

Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world)

And residential complexes look like they belong in Disneyland.

Those ‘things’ hanging from the ceiling in the Dubai Mall?

Hundreds and hundreds of butterflies.

It’s a very unusual city.

Tomorrow…the city and the beach collide
