More from Saigon

Don’t you love the elegant side-saddle style of the woman in the middle? Often we’d see young women sitting side-saddle on the back of a bike and texting on their mobile phones while they zipped through the streets. The Vietnamese sense of balance must be amazing.

A street stall. Literally. Goods in bowls plonked on the side of the street. But look how fresh it all is.  We never had any doubts about the food we ate, as you could see and taste the freshness of it.

Telecommunications, Vietnam-style. Cables just bundled and strung from post to post.

Spirals of incense hanging from the ceiling of one of the temples.  They are very beautiful, but you need to watch for falling ash as you walk under them!
